Our Lynwood Student Ministry's vision is simple:
engage all students to personally experience Christ and equip them and their families to live a different and impactful life for Jesus.
LifeGroups meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am and begin in the Student Room. LifeGroup is where students meet together in grade appropriate classes and encourage one another through Bible Study led by a team of adults. Currently, we have three LifeGroups.
7th & 8th Grade Class is studying The Thread. This study helps students learn the big-‐picture story of the Bible, and how the Gospel is woven through it.
9th & 10th Grade Class is studying Amplify: Growing a Faith That Lasts.
11th & 12th Grade Class is studying The Rescue. This study helps students see what a radical difference the Gospel makes in their lives and in the world.
If you would like devotions texted directly to your phone, please use your phone to text the grade appropriate study "Thread", "Amplify", or "Rescue", to 573-260-5066.
We also want to partner with parents so that you know what your student is learning. Each week we send out a "Parent Page" that lets you know what your student is learning and how you can follow up with them after the lesson. If you would like to receive this by email, please email Kendall Davenport in our student office.
Our midweek meeting is called 180. Because we believe God calls us to live a life that is a 180 degree turn from the rest of the world. It is for students in grades 7 - 12 and meets in the student room from 5 - 7:30pm unless there is a special event.
Due to the many activities of summer, our student ministry does not meet every Wednesday over the summer. Please click the button below to see our summer schedule of activities. Our regular Wednesday night schedule will resume on Sept 1.
