Lynwood Discipleship exists to engage adults with Biblical truth, to experience Christ in community and to equip them to live an authentic and enduring faith as they make disciples.
You may choose to arrive at 5:00PM for a churchwide meal.
If you would like to enjoy the meal, we ask that you call us by 1:00PM on Tuesday, to let us know you are coming that week.
Lynwood Women will gather for a special time of Bible study and encouragement, as we press into the heart of God and grow as women of faith. All women are invited. Meets at 6:15pm.
The Letters of 1, 2 & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. In the study "What Love Is" by Kelly Minter, believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness.
Lynwood Men will come together to study God's Word and strengthen one another on our faith journey. Meets at 6:15pm.
Participants work in small groups to explore the Beatitudes and discover how God long ago provided the model that will bring freedom to individuals with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Separate groups for men and women. Meets at 6:00pm. *Registration has closed.
How can you begin to navigate your 20s and still honor God in the process? Join us as we explore “adulting” for Christ. We'll walk through how to discern God’s will for your life right now and specify how you can best glorify Him through your career, relationships, and commitments. Meets at 6:15pm.
Lynwood Kids and Lynwood Students provide a great place for your children and teenagers to hang out during these times. Kids and Students meet at 6:00pm.

Pastor Mark recommends
Here are some devotionals that Pastor Mark recommends. Devotionals should be used as an aid in reading the Scripture, not as a replacement for God's word.
Everyone goes through difficult seasons, tough losses, and moments that feel unbearable. In today's world, people thirst more than ever for reassurance and guidance. Streams in the Desert provides a river of wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration to weary travelers.
Streams in the Desert offers a refreshing daily dip into God's purpose, plan, and enduring promise. The devotional is easy-to-read and is cherished amongst many generations.
Mornings can be tough. Sometimes, a hearty breakfast and strong cup of coffee just aren't enough. Offering more than a rush of caffeine, best-selling author Paul David Tripp wants to energize you with the most potent encouragement imaginable: the gospel.
Forget "behavior modification" or feel-good aphorisms. Tripp knows that what we really need is an encounter with the living God. Then we'll be prepared to trust in God's goodness, rely on his grace, and live for his glory each and every day.
Foster and Smith sift through works from the great spiritual writers of the past as well as readings from contemporary spiritual leaders to create a guide that is indispensable for those looking for a deeper and more balanced spiritual life.
Devotional Classics features readings from Augustine of Hippo, Blaise Pascal, Francis of Assisi, Deitrich Bonhoeffer, Julian of Norwich, Martin Luther, Soren Kierkegaard, Annie Dillard, Thomas Merton, Kathleen Norris, Dallas Willard, John Calvin, and many more.
