At Lynwood Kids our mission is to engage all kids
through fun and friendship, to experience the love of
Christ, and equip them and their families for the
adventure of faith.

SUndays

Kids LifeGroups are at 9:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M.

Preschool

Children from birth through 5 years old (PreK) all meet
downstairs in their classrooms.

Elementary

Kids in Kindergarten through 4th Grade are dropped off
upstairs in the KidMin Big Room at 9:00 or 10:30 for a large group opening rally.

-         At 9:00, kids will divide up in their age specific LifeGroup classes after the opening rally.

-         At 10:30, K-4th will remain together for a large group experience in the KidMin Big Room.

We encourage parents to have their child attend one hour of LifeGroup (either at 9:00 or 10:30) and the other hour to attend worship together as a family.

Students in 5th-6th Grade (Flight 56) will meet directly in their
LifeGroup room (214) at 9:00. At 10:30, we encourage Flight 56 to attend church.

TeamKID meets from 6-7:30 P.M.

KID stands for Kids in Discipleship. After TeamKID, we send kids home with a parent take home sheet that provides discussion questions from the Bible story that night, along with some Scripture reading. The goal is for parents to spiritually lead their child to know God in His Word. Awards will be given to elementary kids (K-4th) who bring their sheet back signed by the parent the following week!

Preschoolers (birth-5 years old) meet downstairs in the PreK area.

Kindergarten-4th Grade meet upstairs in KidMin Big Room.

Flight 56 (5th-6th Grade) meet directly in their room (214)

More Information

It's my first Sunday.  What can my family and I expect upon arriving at Lynwood?

If you are visiting for the first time, simply look for the KidMin check in area. You will see different self-check in computers as well as a desk with a KidMin leader to assist you. Because safety is a priority, we will need some information at that time including: family member’s name, child’s name and birthday, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.)

How does Check-In work?

Upon arriving, you may use our self-check-in computers to print your child’s identification stickers. If you need any assistance, we will have a KidMin Leader eager to help you in this process.  You will receive sticker nametags that will help in identifying your child to their teachers and allow secure pick-up after services. We do all of this to provide a safe and secure environment for your kids, so you can enjoy worship knowing they are well taken care of!

What does your Kids Ministry see as important?

Above all else, we view the personal salvation of every child and their spiritual growth as followers of Jesus as the most important aspects of our kids ministry here. To do so, we strive for:

  1. Faithful Biblical teaching in age-appropriate ways

  2. Gospel centered proclamation in every lesson

  3. The safety and protection of every child

  4. Parent discipleship at church and in the home

  5. Lots of fun as a means to reach more kids for Jesus!
