At Lynwood Kids our mission is to engage all kids
through fun and friendship, to experience the love of
Christ, and equip them and their families for the
adventure of faith.
Kids LifeGroups are at 9:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M.
Children from birth through 5 years old all meet
downstairs in their classrooms.
Kids in Kindergarten through 4th Grade are dropped off
upstairs in the KidMin Big Room at 9:00 or 10:30 for a
large group Bible study. From there they will dismiss to
their LifeGroup classes.
Students in 5th-6th Grade will meet directly in their
LifeGroup room (214) at 9:00.
TeamKID meets from 6-7:15 P.M.
KID stands for Kids in Discipleship. At Team KID, kids not only learn the Bible, but are also trained to memorize and apply the Bible. We also equip parents parents with activity books to take home so they can help their kids memorize God's Word. Awards will be given to preschoolers and elementary kids who memorize their weekly Bible verse!
Preschoolers (birth-5 years old) meet downstairs in the PreK area.
Kindergarten-4th Grade meet upstairs in KidMin Big Room.
5th-6th Grade meet directly in their room (214) at 6 P.M.
It's my first Sunday. What can my family and I expect upon arriving at Lynwood?
If you are visiting for the first time, simply look for the KidMin check in area. You will see different self-check in computers as well as a desk with a KidMin leader to assist you. Because safety is a priority, we will need some information at that time including: family member’s name, child’s name and birthday, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.)
How does Check-In work?
Upon arriving, you may use our self-check-in computers to print your child’s identification stickers. If you need any assistance, we will have a KidMin Leader eager to help you in this process. You will receive sticker nametags that will help in identifying your child to their teachers and allow secure pick-up after services. We do all of this to provide a safe and secure environment for your kids, so you can enjoy worship knowing they are well taken care of!
What does your Kids Ministry see as important?
Above all else, we view the personal salvation of every child and their spiritual growth as followers of Jesus as the most important aspects of our kids ministry here. To do so, we strive for:
Faithful Biblical teaching in age-appropriate ways
Gospel centered proclamation in every lesson
The safety and protection of every child
Parent discipleship at church and in the home
Lots of fun as a means to reach more kids for Jesus!
